Skyworth Unveils HarmonyOS Integrated Washer-Dryer
Chinese home appliance manufacturer Skyworth has launched a new heat pump washer-dryer integrated into Huawei's HarmonyOS ecosystem. The device is set to officially go on sale in November.
Chinese home appliance manufacturer Skyworth unveiled a new heat pump washer-dryer on September 24. The devices, which support Huawei's HarmonyOS, are scheduled for official market release in November.
The new machines feature a 13kg wash capacity and a 9kg drying capacity. They are equipped with a three-inverter direct drive heat pump and low-temperature drying capabilities. The units also incorporate a "lint-free" technology. Skyworth stated these models achieve China's highest energy efficiency rating, Level 1.
Two models were introduced: a standard version priced at 5399 yuan (approximately $730 USD) and a Pro version at 6499 yuan (approximately $875 USD). Sales will be available through Huawei's official mall, JD.com, and physical Huawei stores.
The Pro model includes additional features such as an independent ventilation system, dual TFT displays, and radar sensors. Both models support smart connectivity within the HarmonyOS ecosystem, allowing users to monitor cycles via a mobile app and receive notifications. The machines also offer a four-stage sterilization system, including UV sterilization, silver ions, high-temperature mite removal, and drum self-cleaning.
