Smart has announced that it is preparing a new Brabus version of its #2 electric vehicle. The BRABUS China division confirmed via social media channels that the new model will be unveiled soon. The vehicle is described as embodying the performance heritage of Brabus while retaining the distinctive smart identity.

Preview images reveal that the new smart #2 Brabus version will feature the classic red and black color scheme familiar from previous Brabus-tuned smart cars. The car will have a matte black finish, with red accents on the badging, front bumper, and interior elements of the headlights. Aerodynamic body kit components have also been incorporated.

Brabus is a global manufacturer of high-performance vehicles, and its collaboration with Smart dates back to 2002, producing iconic models such as the smart ForTwo Brabus. In the electric era, Brabus versions have been released for models like the smart #1 Brabus Performance, and subsequently for the smart #3 and smart #5.

Smart recently launched the "鎏金高定版" (Liú Jīn Gāo Dìng Bǎn) limited edition of the smart #2 in China, with 999 units available at a price of approximately 112,999 Chinese yuan. The standard model measures 2751x1669x1555 mm with a wheelbase of 1875 mm, a top speed of 140 km/h, and a 35.8 kWh CATL LFP battery offering a CLTC range of 410 km.
