Smart Crib Brand Cradlewise Raises $12 Million
D2C smart crib brand Cradlewise has secured $12 million in Series A funding. The company plans to use the capital for product portfolio expansion and international market entry.

San Francisco-based D2C smart crib brand Cradlewise has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital and Prudent Investment Management.
The startup intends to allocate the funds towards growth initiatives, channel expansion, product research and development, and entry into new international markets. Cradlewise plans to broaden its distribution channels beyond its current direct-to-consumer website and e-commerce marketplaces to include offline retail stores and partnerships.
Founded in 2019, Cradlewise manufactures an AI-enabled smart crib that uses sensors and an integrated monitor to detect when a baby begins to stir. The crib then automatically bounces to help soothe the baby back to sleep. A companion app allows parents remote monitoring, sleep pattern tracking, and sleep-related insights.
With the new funding, Cradlewise aims to expand its product portfolio beyond cribs to develop sleep products for older children. Future plans include software-led sleep routines and additional hardware products. This latest round brings Cradlewise's total funding to $26 million.
The company's expansion comes as the sleep technology market diversifies beyond traditional mattress sales, with a growing ecosystem of tech-driven sleep products aimed at improving sleep quality.
