Smart to Unveil 'Style and Racing Edition' of smart #3 at Chengdu Motor Show

Smart China announced on August 20th that a new 'Style and Racing Edition' (型动竞速版) of the smart #3 will be showcased at the upcoming Chengdu Motor Show. The vehicle is expected to highlight performance enhancements, including a carbon fiber sports rear spoiler.
According to the company's preview, the model is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. This performance variant also features a low drag coefficient of 0.27 Cd and an instantaneous switch between two-wheel and four-wheel drive modes.
The Chengdu Motor Show is scheduled to take place from August 21st to August 30th. The event is a significant automotive exhibition in China, providing a platform for manufacturers to debut new vehicles and technologies to the market.
Currently, the smart #3 models start at a price of 164,900 RMB (approximately $22,700 USD). Existing models offer features such as a panoramic glass roof, LED headlights, sport seats, automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, and a 12.8-inch central display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.
