Smartee Denti-Technology Integrates GS MART Technology into Prosthodontic Therapy
Smartee Denti-Technology has launched S22, incorporating its GS MART technology for mandibular repositioning into occlusal reconstruction treatments.
SHENZHEN, China – Smartee Denti-Technology has introduced S22, a new application of its GS MART (Mandibular Repositioning Technology) for use in occlusal reconstruction within prosthodontic dentistry. The development was a joint effort with Professor Gang Shen's orthodontic team at Taikang Dental Group.
Initially developed for complex malocclusions, the GS MART technology focuses on establishing proper mandibular position and functional occlusion. The S22 system extends these principles to address patients requiring occlusal reconstruction due to severe tooth wear or tooth loss, often accompanied by specific bite issues.
According to the development team, S22 advocates for repositioning the mandible in three dimensions before undertaking restorative work. This digital workflow is designed to facilitate sequential treatment planning, prioritizing mandibular repositioning before the final occlusal reconstruction.
The technology aims to support interdisciplinary collaboration among orthodontists, prosthodontists, and general practitioners. It provides a coordinated digital workflow for managing patients with complex occlusal conditions, integrating the specialist roles in planning and execution.
