Smartee Expands GS MART Technology into Prosthetic Dentistry
Smartee Denti-Technology has launched the S22: GS MART technology for occlusal reconstruction in prosthetic dentistry. This move expands the application of the technology beyond its initial orthodontic focus.
SHENZHEN, China, July 11, 2026 – Smartee Denti-Technology announced the introduction of its S22: GS MART (Mandibular Repositioning Technology) for use in prosthetic dentistry. This development extends the clinical application of GS MART, which was previously focused on orthodontics. The project was a collaboration between Smartee Denti-Technology and Prof. Gang Shen’s orthodontic team at Taikang Dental Group.
The GS MART technology was developed to address complex malocclusions using custom clear aligners based on GS core solutions. Rather than concentrating solely on tooth position, the technology emphasizes the mandible's position and functional occlusion within a comprehensive treatment plan.
The S22 solution applies these principles to occlusal reconstruction, often required due to severe tooth wear or loss. The objective is to establish a stable mandibular position through three-dimensional repositioning before definitive prosthetic rehabilitation. The digital workflow is designed to support progressive treatment planning, where mandibular repositioning precedes occlusal reconstruction.
This new technology aims to foster collaboration among orthodontists, prosthodontists, and general dentists in managing patients with complex occlusal issues. It facilitates an integrated approach where mandibular repositioning is incorporated before the final restoration.
Smartee Denti-Technology stated it will continue collaborating with clinical experts to explore multidisciplinary applications of GS technology and support the development of digital treatment workflows in both orthodontics and prosthetics.
