SHENZHEN, China – Smartee Denti-Technology has announced the introduction of the GS MART S22 solution, a mandibular repositioning technology intended for occlusal reconstruction. This initiative extends the clinical applications of the company's existing GS MART technology, previously focused on orthodontic treatments for complex malocclusions.
The S22 solution aims to apply the principles of GS MART to reconstructive therapy for patients experiencing severe dental wear or tooth loss. The company notes that in such cases, restoring dental structure alone may not fully correct underlying occlusal relationships. The new S22 workflow proposes stabilizing the mandible through three-dimensional repositioning before definitive prosthetic rehabilitation.
This development is a collaboration between Smartee Denti-Technology and Professor Gang Shen's orthodontics team. The company suggests the digital workflow facilitates sequential treatment planning, prioritizing mandibular repositioning prior to occlusal reconstruction.
