Smartee Holds First European Summit in Mallorca

Smartee Denti-Technology concluded its first large-scale European academic summit, the Smartee European Summit 2026, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on September 19. This event marked the company's first major summit held outside of China.

The two-day event brought together approximately 300 orthodontic experts and clinicians from 27 countries. Discussions covered GS mandibular repositioning technology, management of complex malocclusions, early orthodontic treatment, sleep dental medicine, and airway-related care. The international launch of two new products, Smartee SA/SA Plus and Smartee AG KIDS, also took place.

Junfeng Yao, founder and CEO of Smartee, addressed the integration of artificial intelligence into the company's products and workflows to enhance clinical support for doctors. Speakers from Europe and Asia shared clinical cases, research advancements, and treatment perspectives across various orthodontic practices.

The first day focused on the GS mandibular repositioning technology and its clinical application in treating malocclusions involving mandibular position discrepancies. The second day expanded to include early orthodontic treatment for growing patients and the management of obstructive sleep apnea and airway issues.

The summit highlighted the importance of patient selection for mandibular repositioning and emphasized the need for continued international clinical research and practice as the field evolves. Smartee is positioning its new products and technologies for broader adoption in the European market.
