SmartSens Showcases Automotive Vision Sensing Portfolio at AutoSens Europe
SmartSens presented its automotive-grade image sensors and integrated vision-and-computing solutions at AutoSens Europe 2026 in Barcelona. The company is focused on advancing intelligent driving technologies.
SmartSens showcased its portfolio of automotive-grade image sensors and integrated vision-and-computing solutions at AutoSens Europe 2026, held in Barcelona from September 22-24.
The company offers sensors and solutions for forward-facing cameras, 360-degree surround-view systems, and driver and occupant monitoring systems (DMS and OMS). SmartSens stated that its architectural innovations, which deeply integrate imaging and computing, are helping to advance global intelligent driving technologies.
At the event, SmartSens demonstrated an integrated forward-facing camera module solution powered by its subsidiary Flyingchip's M2 SoC. The module uses the 8.3MP automotive-grade SC860AT image sensor for forward imaging and the SC233AT sensor for DMS, designed for reliable performance in challenging lighting conditions.
For occupant monitoring, SmartSens presented the SC533AT sensor (5MP) paired with Flyingchip's M1 SoC. This system enables the detection of passengers, pets, and objects left in the vehicle, as well as in-cabin photography and video conferencing.
The company also featured a 360-degree surround-view solution based on the 3MP SC360AT sensor. This system is designed to suppress overexposure and retain shadow details in extreme lighting, such as backlighting and nighttime glare, enhancing safety for parking and maneuvering in narrow spaces.
