After being locked out, users often see a countdown timer for potential account restoration, which has varied from three days to two days. While similar issues have occurred previously, support typically resolved them more quickly.

Snapchat's support system appears to be largely automated by an AI chatbot. Testers report that the AI confirms the use of an official beta version but cannot process appeals or escalate issues to human agents.
