Snapdeal Parent AceVector Lists on Stock Exchange With Weak Debut
AceVector, the parent company of e-commerce platform Snapdeal, experienced a subdued debut on the Indian stock market yesterday. Shares traded below their issue price on the first day of trading.

AceVector, the parent company of Indian e-commerce platform Snapdeal, saw a weak market entry yesterday as its shares listed at a discount on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
The stock opened approximately 11.5% below its issue price of ₹32 per share and closed the trading day down over 18% from the IPO price. Concerns over persistent losses, negative cash flows, and intense market competition had previously been flagged by analysts.
Despite Snapdeal's focus on value-conscious shoppers, its scale significantly trails behind competitors like Meesho. In FY26, Meesho reported a Net Merchandise Value (NMV) of approximately ₹41,560 crore, compared to Snapdeal's ₹1,093.1 crore. Snapdeal also had a considerably smaller base of transacting users.
In contrast, AceVector's software-as-a-service (SaaS) arm, Unicommerce, demonstrated stronger performance with a 51.6% year-on-year revenue increase in FY26. However, this segment remains too small to fully offset the challenges faced by the Snapdeal business.
