Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (Sobi) and Innate Pharma SA have officially launched their strategic partnership after meeting all closing conditions. The collaboration focuses on the development of cancer therapies.

Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (Sobi) and Innate Pharma SA announced that their previously agreed-upon strategic partnership is now effective. The collaboration officially commenced following the satisfaction of all conditions required for closing the deal.
The partnership centers on Innate Pharma's immuno-oncology drug candidate, Aimovig. Under the terms of the agreement, Sobi gains extensive rights to the clinical development and global commercialization of Aimovig.
Innate Pharma will receive an upfront payment of €50 million, with potential additional milestone payments of up to €170 million related to development and sales. Furthermore, Innate Pharma may also receive a share of future net sales of Aimovig.
This strategic collaboration is expected to enhance Sobi's oncology pipeline and leverage Innate Pharma's expertise in developing immunomodulatory treatments. Both companies anticipate that the partnership will accelerate the delivery of new cancer treatments to patients.
