Sobi Reports Strong Second Quarter, Raises Full-Year Outlook
Swedish biopharma company Sobi announced a significant revenue increase for the second quarter of 2026 and raised its full-year financial guidance. The company also noted important progress in its drug pipeline.

STOCKHOLM, July 16, 2026 – Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (Sobi) today reported a substantial increase in revenue for the second quarter of 2026. Total revenue rose by 27 percent to SEK 7,842 million, driven by strong sales in its haematology and immunology divisions.
The haematology segment saw a 27 percent revenue increase to SEK 5,726 million, primarily due to high sales of Altuvoct and Doptelet. Immunology revenue grew by 37 percent to SEK 1,711 million, boosted by Gamifant and Kineret. Revenue from Sobi's strategic portfolio increased by 53 percent.
With these results, Sobi has updated its financial outlook for 2026. The company now anticipates revenue to grow by a mid-to high-teens percentage at constant exchange rates, up from its previous low double-digit forecast. The adjusted EBITA margin is projected to be in the mid-to high-30s percentage range.
In terms of its pipeline, Sobi announced it received a Complete Response Letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regarding manufacturing for a potential gout treatment but sees a clear path for resubmission. Additionally, the company reported positive top-line results from the pivotal Phase 3 REDUCE 2 study for Pozdeutinurad.
