SoftBank to Launch AI Cloud Services in US Via New SB Neo Venture
SoftBank Group and its subsidiary SoftBank Corp. will establish a new joint venture, SB Neo, in the United States to offer AI computing resources.

SoftBank Group and its subsidiary SoftBank Corp. announced plans to establish a new joint venture, SB Neo, in the United States. The company is slated for Delaware incorporation this month, with SoftBank Group holding a 49% stake and SoftBank Corp. owning 51%.
SB Neo, previously known as Neocloud, will leverage SoftBank Group's ongoing development of 10 GW energy and AI infrastructure. The venture aims to provide computing power for large U.S. enterprises requiring resources for training and inference of large AI models. The cloud services are scheduled to launch in the U.S. during fiscal year 2027, with plans for phased expansion to meet demand.
SoftBank Corp. has been testing AI GPU cloud services in Japan since May, and insights from these trials will inform SB Neo's U.S. operations. SoftBank Group is actively developing large-scale AI infrastructure projects in the U.S., which will also support SB Neo's business development.
