Software Mind's Telco Days 2026 to Focus on AI and Network Security
Software Mind will host a free online conference on November 6, featuring discussions on applying AI in the telecommunications sector with speakers from companies including Telefónica and IBM.

Software Mind is hosting a free online conference, Telco Days 2026, on November 6, focusing on agentic AI and network security within the telecommunications industry. The event will feature speakers from leading sector companies such as Telefónica, Amdocs, and IBM.
The conference aims to bridge the gap between AI experiments and measurable results. ROCCO will present survey findings from over 300 telecom leaders, examining the ROI of AI investments and reasons for pilot project stagnation. Physicist Andrzej Dragan will deliver a keynote on whether machines can think.
Next Mobile will demonstrate how generative AI operates on both sides of the SMS channel, facilitating fraud and defending against it. Software Mind will present its Amplitiv Signaling Firewall. Telefónica, Tallence, and Software Mind will share insights on how nearshore delivery transformed Telefónica's charging operating model. Amdocs will discuss turning Business Support Systems (BSS) into monetization engines, and Alianza will explore voice AI orchestrated through the operator's network. IBM's session details are forthcoming.
"Telecom AI is moving beyond proofs of concept, and operators are finding that autonomy raises the stakes as much as it eases the workload," said Dawid Mielnik, Telecom General Manager at Software Mind. He emphasized that incorrect AI decisions can impact service quality and customer trust, highlighting the need for agentic AI to understand networks, not just language.
The event runs from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM CET, with all sessions available on demand afterward. Attendees will gain practical lessons from teams running AI in production. Free registration is available at softwaremind.com/events/telco-days-2026.
