Software Mind's Telco Days 2026 to Focus on AI and Network Security

Software Mind is hosting a free online conference, Telco Days 2026, on November 6. The event's theme, "Roadmap to Agentic AI and Safer Networks," centers on the practical implementation and challenges of artificial intelligence for telecom operators. The conference will feature speakers from major industry players including Telefónica, Amdocs, and IBM.

The event aims to bridge the gap between AI experimentation and measurable results in the telecom industry. ROCCO will present findings from a survey of over 300 telecom leaders regarding AI adoption, use case viability, and challenges in scaling pilots. Discussions will also cover the dual role of generative AI in both perpetrating and defending against SMS fraud.

Sessions will include insights from Telefónica on operational model transformation, Amdocs on BSS platform monetization, and Next Mobile on AI in SMS security. Physicist Andrzej Dragan will deliver a keynote on the nature of machine thought. The conference intends to provide actionable lessons for companies currently deploying AI in production environments.

"Telecom AI is moving beyond proofs of concept, and operators are finding that autonomy raises the stakes as much as it eases the workload," said Dawid Mielnik, Telecom General Manager at Software Mind. "Agentic AI in telecom must understand networks, not just language."
