Solidion Technology Addresses Growing Energy Storage Needs of AI Data Centers

Dallas, TX – Solidion Technology on Wednesday reaffirmed its commitment to providing energy storage solutions for the growing needs of artificial intelligence data centers. The company's PEAK series UPS system, powered by its proprietary anode technology, is designed to address the space, lifespan, and cost requirements of AI infrastructure.

As AI workloads increase data center power density, the strain on systems maintaining operations during grid disruptions grows. Traditional UPS batteries occupy floor space that could otherwise be allocated to AI servers and computing equipment. Furthermore, these batteries require periodic replacement.

Solidion's approach centers on its PEAK series, a UPS battery system utilizing the company's in-house 5500 silicon-carbon anode cell. According to Solidion, the PEAK system is engineered to reduce the physical footprint of UPS solutions by up to 30% compared to conventional systems. Additionally, the 5500 cell is designed for a lifespan up to three times longer than existing backup systems, minimizing replacement and maintenance needs.

The company also highlights its material-level innovations, including over 385 patents related to silicon anodes, graphene, and next-generation battery chemistry. With pilot production facilities in the United States, including Dayton, Ohio, Solidion aims to supply energy storage solutions tailored for data center environments.
