Solstad Maritime ASA's subsidiary Maximus Shipping AS has declared its option to purchase the CSV Normand Maximus vessel through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Normand Maximus AS. The purchase price is set at USD 125,000,000.

Skudeneshavn, Norway โ October 6, 2026 โ Solstad Maritime ASA announced today that its subsidiary, Maximus Shipping AS, has exercised its purchase option for the CSV Normand Maximus. The vessel has been operating under a bareboat charterparty with Normand Maximus AS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Solstad Offshore ASA.
The declaration, made on October 6, 2026, follows the terms of the charter agreement entered into on October 7, 2022. Normand Maximus AS holds the option to purchase the vessel after five years of chartering, with a required 12-month advance notice. The exercise price for this option is USD 125,000,000.
The CSV Normand Maximus is a specialized vessel utilized in offshore construction and support operations. Its acquisition by Solstad Maritime is expected to enhance the company's asset portfolio and operational capabilities within the offshore energy sector.
