Solstad Offshore exercises purchase option for CSV Normand Maximus
Solstad Offshore ASA's subsidiary has declared its option to purchase the CSV Normand Maximus. The purchase price is set at USD 125,000,000.

Skudeneshavn, Norway – Solstad Offshore ASA announced that its subsidiary, Normand Maximus AS, has exercised its purchase option for the CSV Normand Maximus vessel. The acquisition is expected to be completed in October 2027, with a purchase price of USD 125,000,000.
Normand Maximus AS entered into a bareboat charterparty for the vessel on October 7, 2022, with Maximus Shipping AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Solstad Maritime ASA. Under the terms of the charterparty, the charterer holds the right to purchase the vessel after five years of operation.
The exercise of the purchase option requires 12 months' advance notice, which has now been provided by Normand Maximus AS. This move solidifies Solstad Offshore's control over a key asset in its fleet, supporting its offshore construction and subsea services operations.
The CSV Normand Maximus is a specialized vessel deployed for demanding offshore construction projects. This acquisition reflects the company's strategy to invest in assets crucial for its ongoing and future projects in the energy sector.
