Solv Wellness Names Dr. Christine Vaccaro First Chief Medical Officer
Solv Wellness, a women's health company focused on perimenopause and menopause, has appointed Dr. Christine Vaccaro as its first Chief Medical Officer. She will guide the company's menopause education strategy.

Solv Wellness, a science-backed women's health company focused on perimenopause and menopause, has named Dr. Christine Vaccaro as its first Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Vaccaro will advise the company on its menopause education strategy and support educational initiatives for both patients and healthcare providers.
A double board-certified urogynecologist and sexual medicine specialist, Dr. Vaccaro's appointment addresses a recognized gap in menopause education. Studies indicate that less than a third of OB/GYN residency programs offer dedicated menopause curricula, and only about half of women experiencing menopause consult a healthcare professional about their symptoms.
In her role as CMO, Dr. Vaccaro will contribute to patient and clinician resources and represent Solv Wellness in educational programs. Her work aims to help women and their doctors understand options and make informed, evidence-based health decisions, building on the company's mission since 2010.
Dr. Vaccaro previously served 30 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a colonel after holding leadership positions at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Solv Wellness CEO Terri Wade stated that Dr. Vaccaro's expertise deepens the company's commitment to scientific rigor and clinical trust.
