Somnia Anesthesia to Recognize Clinical Excellence

Somnia Anesthesia, a national anesthesia management company, has announced its first virtual Clinicians of the Year event. The ceremony, scheduled for October 7, 2026, will recognize anesthesiologists and CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) across Somnia's network nationwide.

The event will present four awards: one anesthesiologist and one CRNA from the East Coast, and one anesthesiologist and one CRNA from the West Coast. Nominees were selected by their peers, with final decisions made by Somnia's leadership. The event also marks the company's 30th year of providing anesthesia services.

Remarks will be given by CEO Dr. Marc Koch and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Robert Goldstein. They are expected to highlight the dedication and expertise of the clinicians who are integral to Somnia's operations and its partnerships with hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.

The virtual format was chosen to allow participation from all Somnia clinicians regardless of their location. Somnia provides anesthesia care and staffing solutions to hospitals, ASCs, and office-based practices.
