Sony introduces Prism Collection of translucent DualSense controllers
Sony has unveiled the Prism Collection for its PlayStation 5 hardware, featuring a translucent aesthetic across three new colorways.
Sony PlayStation has announced the launch of the Prism Collection, a new series of DualSense wireless controllers featuring a semi-transparent exterior. The collection is available in graphite gray, emerald green, and flame orange. The translucent design aims to reveal the internal structure of the controller, a visual style that has periodically appeared in previous console hardware cycles.
In addition to the controllers, the company is releasing matching PlayStation 5 console covers to complement the new range. The hardware update serves as a visual refresh for the current console generation, catering to players who favor historical aesthetic trends in gaming peripherals.
The products are scheduled for release on February 4. The controllers are priced at 12,480 yen, while the console covers will retail for 9,980 yen.
