The updated model brings minor improvements to the original, which launched in fall 2020 and received widespread acclaim for its excellent sound, competitive active noise cancellation (ANC), and compact design.
The original XM4 headphones topped best-of lists for years until they went out of stock. The WH-1000XM4C boasts an identical visual design to the 2020 model, including its hinge mechanism and foldable form factor. A new lavender color option is also available.
