The standard edition is priced at 388 Hong Kong dollars through the PlayStation Store Hong Kong, with the digital deluxe edition costing 438 Hong Kong dollars. Pre-order bonuses include the "Last Wish" armor set, the "Laufey's Golden Leaves" cosmetic, and in-game resource packs.
The digital deluxe edition bundles the base game with additional digital content, including the "Dark Alchemy" armor set, "Dark Alchemy" weapon skins, "Dark Alchemy" shield cosmetic, a digital art book, and the official digital soundtrack.
Developed by Santa Monica Studio, this installment shifts focus from Kratos to his late wife, Laufey, the mother of Atreus. The development team stated that the game aims to blend the mobility and fluid combat of the Greek era with the depth of world-building and character relationships found in the Norse era. The narrative will explore Laufey's humanity, resilience, and imperfections.
