Sophie Maddaloni appointed Kering's General Secretary
Kering has appointed Sophie Maddaloni as the Group's General Secretary. She will report to Jean-Marc Duplaix and oversee governance, interests, and compliance.

Kering, the luxury group, announced on Tuesday the appointment of Sophie Maddaloni as its General Secretary, effective immediately. Based in Paris, Maddaloni joins the Group's Executive Committee and reports to Jean-Marc Duplaix, Group Chief Operating Officer.
Maddaloni's responsibilities will encompass the Group's governance, safeguarding its interests, and upholding the highest standards of compliance. She will oversee the Legal, Internal Control, Internal Audit, and Security departments, working in close collaboration with Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
With extensive experience from major international groups, Maddaloni brings recognized expertise in legal affairs, governance, and organizational transformation. She joined Kering in 2017 as Group Tax Director, where she led the transformation of the tax function and strengthened the Group's compliance and risk management framework.
Prior to her tenure at Kering, Maddaloni held positions at Elf Aquitaine, Alstom T&D, and Technip, where she headed tax and legal entity functions. She holds a master's degree in business law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a postgraduate degree in international business law and taxation from HEC Paris.
