Sound | Escape Concludes Winter Season in Kitzbühel
Kitzbühel Tourism and its partners concluded the winter season with the successful three-day Sound | Escape event, which drew thousands of visitors to various locations.

Kitzbühel Tourism has reported a highly positive conclusion for its Sound | Escape 3.0 event, which wrapped up the winter season with electronic music. The three-day festival, held over a weekend, attracted thousands of attendees across multiple mountain and valley stages, offering free admission.
The event was designed to bring new energy to the traditionally quieter part of March in the tourism sector. This year featured two alpine stages: one at the Alpenhaus on Kitzbüheler Horn on Friday, and another at the Hahnenkamm slope on Saturday. Both locations provided a backdrop of scenic sunsets and panoramic mountain views.
Kitzbühel Tourism Managing Director Dr. Viktoria Veider-Walser noted the concept's success in attracting more visitors, engaging businesses, and enhancing the overall atmosphere. She emphasized the value of such initiatives during off-peak periods and confirmed plans for the festival's continuation in 2027. Several local establishments, including Alpenhaus and Bei Tomschy, participated and praised the unique ambiance and positive feedback generated.
The festival featured over 30 artists performing across various venues, providing electronic music until the early morning hours. The collaboration with local partners was highlighted as successful, showcasing Kitzbühel's versatility beyond sports, encompassing cultural and emotional experiences.
