Soundcore Expands Thus Chip to More Headphones for Improved Call Quality

Soundcore, Anker's audio brand, is expanding the use of its Thus processing chip to a wider range of audio products, focusing on delivering superior call quality.
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Soundcore announced several new devices, including the Space 2 Pro headphones, the AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro open-ear clip earbuds, and the Liberty Buds 2 earbuds. The Space 2 Pro headphones mark the debut of the Thus chip in a headphone form factor, utilizing a six-microphone array for voice isolation.
The Thus chip, first introduced in April and featured in the Liberty 5 Pro series earbuds, has been recognized for its ability to virtually eliminate ambient sounds during calls. The Space 2 Pro headphones further enhance this with an additional eight microphones dedicated to adaptive noise cancellation.
These new product announcements signal Soundcore's commitment to advancing audio technology for consumers, with a particular emphasis on improving the real-world experience of voice calls. The company aims to differentiate its offerings through these technical improvements.
