South Korean Tech Leaders to Meet Nvidia CEO in U.S.
Heads of South Korean tech firms including Samsung and SK Group are set to participate in a roundtable discussion with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in the United States.
Lee Jae-yong, chairman of Samsung Electronics, and Chey Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, along with other South Korean technology leaders, are scheduled to meet with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in the United States. The roundtable discussion is expected to take place near Silicon Valley on July 24.
Industry sources suggest the meeting will focus on artificial intelligence. There is also anticipation that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei may attend the event, indicating a broad convergence of key figures in the AI landscape.
This meeting follows Huang's visit to South Korea in June, where he had dinner with Chey Tae-won and other Korean corporate leaders. During that trip, Huang announced Nvidia's plans to build a new AI technology center in South Korea, signaling a commitment to the region's growing AI research and development capabilities.
The gathering underscores Nvidia's central role in the global AI ecosystem and the strategic importance of collaboration between semiconductor giants and major technology adopters in shaping the future of artificial intelligence.
