Southeast Asia Fintech Funding Triples to $2.3B
Fintech companies in Southeast Asia raised $2.3 billion in the first nine months of 2026, a 206% increase year-on-year. Funding was concentrated in large deals, with Singapore leading.

Fintech firms in Southeast Asia secured $2.3 billion in funding during the first nine months of 2026, marking a 206% increase from the $748 million raised in the same period last year, according to market intelligence firm Tracxn. However, the number of funding rounds decreased to 42 from 75.
Four rounds exceeding $100 million accounted for 86% of the total funding. Ant International's $1.2 billion Series A round was the largest single investment, indicating a concentration of capital in a few major transactions.
No initial public offerings were recorded in the region during the nine-month period. Fintech companies based in Singapore attracted the largest share, raising $1.9 billion. Firms in West Jakarta followed with $270 million.
The report also highlighted a 46% year-on-year decline in seed funding to $53.3 million for the first nine months of 2026, despite earlier reports suggesting record levels in the first half of the year.
