SpaceTech Firm InspeCity Raises ₹100 Crore for Four Missions
Indian space technology startup InspeCity has secured ₹100 crore (approx. $10.4 million) in pre-Series A funding. The capital will be used to finance four in-orbit space missions over the next 18 months.

Thane, India – Space technology startup InspeCity announced it has raised ₹100 crore (approximately $10.4 million) in a pre-Series A funding round. The round was co-led by investor Ashish Kacholia and Speciale Invest, with participation from Antler India, Shastra VC, and existing backers.
The company intends to utilize the funds to support four in-orbit missions within the next 12 to 18 months. These missions aim to qualify and commercially deploy InspeCity's in-space servicing technologies, including rendezvous and proximity operations, propulsion, and robotics. The startup also plans to expand its team.
InspeCity co-founder Arindrajit Chowdhury stated the company will focus on government R&D projects, upcoming space missions, and the production of its propulsion systems. The company has completed functional and environmental testing of its propulsion system with clearances from ISRO labs.
The funding comes as India's space technology sector experiences rapid growth, fueled by policy reforms, cost advantages, and engineering talent, attracting increased investor attention.
