SpaceX reports $14.6 billion Q3 revenue on growth in AI and connectivity sectors

SpaceX reported $14.6 billion in revenue for the third quarter, marking a 161 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The surge was largely attributed to the company’s Super Intelligence (SI) division and its expanding connectivity operations.

Financial data reveals a distinct divide between the company’s business units. While the core space division reported an operating loss of $7 million, the connectivity group generated $2.4 billion in operating income. Meanwhile, the SI segment contributed $431 million to the quarterly operating income.

The SI business, which saw revenue climb 830 percent year-over-year to $7.6 billion, benefited from new cloud service contracts, the integration of the acquired company Cursor, and wider enterprise adoption of the Grok platform. These results highlight a strategic shift as SpaceX attempts to balance its capital-intensive aerospace ventures with high-growth digital infrastructure services.
