In parallel, India celebrated the successful orbital debut of Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 rocket, the nation's first fully private satellite launcher. The rocket lifted off from Sriharikota Island and reached its planned orbit approximately 280 miles high. The launch experienced a brief delay due to a technical issue before proceeding.
