SpaceXAI Renames to SpaceXSI Following Musk's Directive

The official social media handle for SpaceXAI has been changed to SpaceX Super Intelligence (@SpaceXSI). This move follows U.S. President Donald Trump's directive to replace the term 'Artificial Intelligence' (AI) with 'Super Intelligence' (SI).

SpaceXAI, the artificial intelligence division of SpaceX, has officially rebranded its social media presence to "SpaceX Super Intelligence" with the handle @SpaceXSI. The change was announced by founder Elon Musk early Thursday.

The rebranding aligns with a directive issued by U.S. President Donald Trump in late September. Trump signed an executive order mandating all federal departments and agencies to use the term "Super Intelligence" (SI) instead of "Artificial Intelligence" (AI) in their communications.

Musk himself publicly acknowledged this shift earlier. During a press encounter at the White House, Musk reportedly used the term "AI" before swiftly correcting himself to "SI" in President Trump's presence. Trump was said to have thanked Musk for the correction.

Notably, Musk has previously voiced concerns regarding the potential risks associated with advanced AI. While this name change adheres to the presidential directive, it also highlights the ongoing discussion around terminology and its implications within the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.
