SpaceXSI bundles X Premium, Grok, and Cursor into single subscription
SpaceXSI has launched "The X Subscription," consolidating its X Premium, Grok AI, and Cursor coding tools into one package. This move aims to attract more users in the competitive AI subscription market.
SpaceXSI, formerly operating under different branding, has introduced a unified subscription service named "The X Subscription." This new offering bundles previously separate services, including X Premium features, the Grok AI chatbot, and the Cursor AI coding assistant, into a single plan. The company's strategy is to attract a larger subscriber base by consolidating these services amid increasing competition in the AI subscription sector, where it faces rivals like OpenAI and Anthropic.
The X Subscription provides users with access to Grok's conversational AI capabilities, supporting voice, image, video, and API functionalities. It also includes Grok's agentic AI bot and Cursor for AI-assisted coding. Additionally, subscribers will receive the premium features associated with X Premium, such as the verified blue checkmark, creator tools, and a reduced ad experience.
The new subscription model features five tiers: Free, Plus ($8/month), Premium ($30/month), Super ($100/month), and Ultra ($200/month). Usage limits for AI features increase with higher tiers. The free tier offers limited chat and agent usage, while the latest Grok models require a Premium subscription or above.
For existing X Premium+ subscribers, the comparable tier within the new X Subscription is priced at the same or a lower cost. Users can opt to upgrade their current subscription through their X account settings or maintain their existing plan. The rollout of the upgrade option will be gradual.
