Sparkasse App Named Best Banking App for Fifth Consecutive Year
The Sparkasse app, developed by Finanz Informatik, has once again been rated the top banking app in Germany by a recent study. It secured the highest score for functionality and service.
The Sparkasse mobile application, a product of Finanz Informatik GmbH & Co. KG, has been recognized as Germany's leading banking app in a study published by business magazine Capital. This marks the fifth consecutive year the app has achieved this distinction.
In the evaluation conducted by the Institut für Vermögensaufbau (IVA), the Sparkasse app received an overall score of 92.6 out of 100. The study highlighted the app's comprehensive feature set and robust service offerings, distinguishing it from competitors, particularly newer digital banks that reportedly lag in service areas.
The assessment focused on two key areas: "Banking and Functionality" (weighted at 70%) and "Service" (weighted at 30%). The Sparkasse app scored 65.2 out of 70 points in the banking and functionality category, which included user-friendliness and security. It also achieved 27.4 out of 30 points for service, covering aspects like customer support and additional financial tools.
