Specialised Therapeutics Expands Incyte Partnership for Ruxolitinib Cream in Australia
Specialised Therapeutics has expanded its agreement with Incyte to include the commercialization, distribution, and registration of Ruxolitinib Cream (Opzelura®) in Australia.
Independent biopharmaceutical company Specialised Therapeutics (ST) has announced an expansion of its existing partnership with Incyte Biosciences International, an affiliate of Incyte (NASDAQ: INCY). The expanded agreement grants ST the rights to commercialize, distribute, and register Ruxolitinib Cream (Opzelura®) within Australia.
This new agreement builds upon ST's prior success in commercializing other Incyte products in the region. The companies have not disclosed specific financial terms for the expanded deal. Ruxolitinib Cream is indicated for the treatment of non-segmental vitiligo and atopic dermatitis.
The addition of Opzelura to ST's portfolio aims to provide new therapeutic options for Australian patients suffering from these dermatological conditions. Specialised Therapeutics has previously launched other Incyte medications in Australia, including Jakafi and Pemazyre, for hematologic and renal cell cancers.
The expanded partnership reinforces Specialised Therapeutics' presence in the Australian specialty pharmaceutical market, leveraging its established commercial infrastructure and expertise.
