Spiritual Tech Startup Utsav Raises ₹36 Crore in Series A Funding

Kolkata – Utsav, an Indian tech startup specializing in spiritual services, announced it has raised ₹36 crore (approximately $3.8 million) in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Atomic Capital, with participation from existing investors India Quotient and Equanimity Investments.

Founded in 2021, Utsav operates a community-led marketplace for faith and divinity, aiming to build a digital layer connecting devotees, temples, and rituals across India. The company plans to utilize the new capital to accelerate its product development, bolster its technology stack, and fuel growth initiatives.

Utsav claims its platform currently fulfills 250,000 orders monthly. The startup also intends to expand its services to the Indian diaspora over the next 12-24 months and scale its presence within the broader devotional ecosystem.

Prior to this round, Utsav raised ₹6.4 crore in January 2025. The company reports an eightfold increase in revenue since that funding. The spiritual tech segment in India is experiencing growing investor interest, with other platforms also securing significant investments recently.
