SPORT BILD Award to be held at Hamburg's Fish Auction Hall

The 24th SPORT BILD Award ceremony will take place at Hamburg's historic Fish Auction Hall on August 31. The event will be hosted for the first time by "Sportschau" presenter Esther Sedlaczek.
The gala aims to recognize outstanding personalities, achievements, and moments from the sporting year. Approximately 700 guests from sports, media, business, and society are expected to attend. The award ceremony is organized by SPORT BILD, Europe's largest sports magazine, and is considered a significant sports media award in Germany.
Sedlaczek will co-host the ceremony with Henning Feindt, SPORT BILD's Editor-in-Chief and Sports Editor-in-Chief for the BILD and WELT Group. Sedlaczek is no stranger to the event, having received an award in 2023 alongside Bastian Schweinsteiger for their coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Feindt described Sedlaczek as "the signing of the year" for SPORT BILD, praising her skills as a host. The SPORT BILD Award has been presented annually since 2003, honoring numerous prominent figures in German and international sports.
