Sportradar Group AG Faces Securities Class Action Lawsuit

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Sportradar Group AG (NASDAQ: SRAD), a company providing sports data and analytics services, concerning allegations of securities fraud. Purchasers or acquirers of Sportradar's Class A ordinary shares during the period from November 7, 2024, to April 21, 2026, are eligible to be lead plaintiffs in the lawsuit.

The suit, filed by law firm Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, alleges that Sportradar and certain of its officers made false or misleading statements and failed to disclose crucial information about the company's business operations and prospects. The lawsuit claims these actions violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Central to the allegations is the claim that Sportradar intentionally collaborated with black-market gambling operators to boost its revenue, contrary to its public assurances of compliance and ethical conduct. The suit further contends that the company’s Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and compliance processes were not as robust as represented by management.

These allegations gained significant attention following separate investigative reports published on April 22, 2026, by Muddy Waters Research and Callisto Research. These reports alleged that Sportradar deliberately cultivated relationships with black-market gambling partners. The news resulted in a more than 22% drop in Sportradar's share price on the day following the reports' release.

The deadline for investors to seek appointment as lead plaintiff is July 17, 2026. The lead plaintiff plays a critical role in directing the litigation on behalf of all class members. Eligibility for potential recovery does not depend on serving as lead plaintiff.
