Sports broadcasters Laura Wontorra and Riccardo Basile are expecting their first child, due in Spring 2027.

The couple announced the news on social media, sharing a photo of themselves alongside pink baby shoes. Their Instagram post read: "Half you. Half me."

Wontorra, 37, and Basile, both prominent figures in sports broadcasting, have been a couple since early 2026. Their relationship reportedly began as a friendship, with Basile following in the footsteps of Wontorra's father, Jörg Wontorra, at Sky.

Well-wishes have poured in from numerous celebrities, including colleagues Anna Kraft and Joachim Llambi. The choice of pink shoes has sparked speculation that the couple may be expecting a baby girl.
