Charlotte, North Carolina – SPX Technologies, Inc. announced on January 27, 2025, that it has finalized the acquisition of Kranze Technology Solutions (KTS). KTS focuses on digital interoperability and tactical networking solutions.
The acquisition is expected to accelerate the growth strategy of SPX Technologies' Communication Technologies platform, which operates within its Detection & Measurement segment. KTS is anticipated to be modestly accretive to SPX's adjusted earnings per share from continuing operations in 2025.
Gene Lowe, President and CEO of SPX Technologies, stated that KTS's technology and strong position in U.S. defense platforms are a good fit with SPX's existing offerings in tactical datalinks and RF countermeasures. This strategic move aims to expand SPX's value creation opportunities in complementary growth markets.
SPX Technologies plans to provide further details on its 2025 guidance, including the financial impact of KTS, when it reports its fourth quarter 2024 results on February 25, 2025.
