Square 9 Releases Workflow Bottleneck Assessment Tool
Square 9 Softworks has launched a new playbook to help organizations identify and address hidden inefficiencies in their operational processes.

Square 9 Softworks, based in New Haven, Connecticut, has released its new playbook, 'Solving Workflow Bottlenecks: Your Step-by-Step Companion for Effective Automation'. This tool provides organizations with a practical framework to evaluate their operational workflows, uncover hidden bottlenecks, and prioritize automation initiatives.
As businesses increasingly invest in AI and automation, many still grapple with inefficient manual workflows that lead to slower approvals, increased costs, and reduced visibility. The new playbook aims to address this challenge by offering an eight-category assessment covering process visibility, approvals, information access, integrations, collaboration, repetitive tasks, error reduction, and continuous improvement.
Stephen Young, President and CEO of Square 9 Softworks, emphasized that successful automation begins with understanding. "Organizations often know they're experiencing delays, but not what's causing them. This playbook helps leaders uncover those hidden workflow bottlenecks so they can prioritize automation projects that deliver measurable business value," Young stated.
The playbook encourages businesses to evaluate complete business processes rather than automating isolated tasks. The goal is to help teams identify opportunities for increased efficiency, improved compliance, reduced manual work, and better information connectivity across various systems.
