Srinivasa Edifice Achieves 25% Production Increase With Metso Services

Helsinki – Indian construction company Srinivasa Edifice Pvt Ltd (SEPL) has boosted its production by 25 percent after adopting Metso Oyj's Life Cycle Services (LCS) for its crushing plants. The company also reported significant operational cost savings, prompting an order for five additional plants.

SEPL, a specialist in aggregate production and a key supplier to South Central Railways and the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), benefited from Metso's comprehensive support. The LCS contract allowed SEPL to focus on its core business of constructing railways and roads, outsourcing the management of crushing operations to Metso's experts.

According to Metso, the LCS agreement includes on-site service engineers, predictive maintenance planning, spare parts management, and operator training. This has reportedly reduced downtime and ensured consistent product quality. SEPL Managing Director YV Krishna Mohan stated that the company now achieves an average daily production of 3,000 tons per plant, significantly improving cost-efficiency.

Having previously acquired Metso plants and verified their performance, SEPL decided to expand its partnership. The company not only outsourced the operation of an existing plant under an LCS agreement but also replaced competitor equipment with newer Metso units. Metso's extensive service network across India provides robust support for SEPL's operations in various regions.

Metso supplied SEPL with a fully automated mobile crushing plant, featuring a Nordberg® C106™ jaw crusher and a Nordberg® GP220™ cone crusher. This setup enables SEPL to simultaneously produce both railway ballast and aggregates for road projects in specified sizes, while enhancing product quality and volume.
