StackRails launches platform to provide enterprise context for AI coding agents
StackRails has introduced a platform that maps enterprise architecture to prevent AI-generated code from creating downstream system incompatibilities.

Dublin-based StackRails has launched a new platform designed to integrate enterprise context into AI-driven software development. The tool maps system interdependencies—including code, infrastructure, APIs, and data flows—to ensure that code generated by AI agents aligns with an organization's specific architectural policies.
Company founder Alexander Wheeler stated that the platform addresses a common challenge where AI tools introduce incompatible changes in large, multi-repository codebases. StackRails provides this context to existing coding agents like Copilot and Codex, while also auditing pull requests for policy violations before deployment.
Beyond code generation, the platform maintains a live map of the system architecture. The company expects this to assist teams in system documentation and knowledge management. StackRails will showcase its technology at the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo in Barcelona this November.
