Stadshypotek reported a 28% year-on-year decrease in operating profit for the first half of 2026, with earnings reaching SEK 2,809 million. This compares to SEK 3,883 million in the first six months of 2025.

Compared to the second half of 2025, operating profit declined by 17% from SEK 3,388 million. Net interest income remained flat at SEK 4,902 million in the first half of 2026 relative to the latter half of 2025, which recorded SEK 4,903 million.

However, on a year-on-year basis, net interest income decreased by 12% to SEK 4,902 million from SEK 5,598 million in the first half of 2025. Loans to the public saw minimal change, increasing by 0% to SEK 1,572 billion compared to SEK 1,570 billion in the latter half of 2025.

The Swedish lender's return on equity stood at 6.9%, down from 7.8% in the prior year's comparable period. The credit loss ratio was reported as 0.00%.

Stadshypotek's capital position remained strong, with the common equity tier 1 ratio at 13.1%, an increase from 12.8% at the end of 2025.
