Staffan Påhlsson Appointed Acting CEO of Bravida

Mats O Paulsson has stepped down as CEO and board member of Bravida. The company's board has appointed Staffan Påhlsson as acting CEO, effective immediately.

Paulsson cited a successful sale process as the reason for his departure, stating it was time to "hand over to a new leadership that can develop and grow Bravida further" under its new owner, Bain Capital. He plans to focus on board assignments in the future.

Staffan Påhlsson, previously deputy CEO, has been with Bravida for 32 years. His appointment is expected to ensure continuity and maintain the company's strong market position in Scandinavia. Marc Valentiny, Chairman of the Board, commented on Påhlsson's qualifications for the role.

Bravida provides technical installation and service solutions, specializing in electrical, heating and plumbing, and HVAC services across more than 150 locations in Scandinavia. The company has approximately 8,000 employees.
