Stags Leap District Winemakers Release Collaborative Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemakers from Napa Valley's Stags Leap District unite for the fourth vintage to produce a single Cabernet Sauvignon representing the region's collective spirit.

Winemakers from Napa Valley's Stags Leap District have released the fourth vintage of their collaborative Cabernet Sauvignon, "A Collaboration." The 2024 bottling combines distinguished Cabernet Sauvignon lots from 15 wineries across the appellation, aiming to showcase the region's unity rather than individual competition.
Each year, the winemaking team evolves, bringing diverse perspectives and approaches to the blend. This intentional rotation reflects the district's emphasis on cooperation and inclusion. The project seeks to create a Cabernet Sauvignon that embodies the Stags Leap District's signature balance of power and elegance, rather than promoting any single winery's style.
"While our wineries each have their own history, vineyards, winemaking philosophy and point of view, we share a deep connection to this place," said Nancy Bialek, Executive Director of the Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association. "The Collaboration gives us an opportunity to put individual identities aside and create something together. With different winemakers participating each year, the wine captures a moment in time and celebrates the sense of unity and camaraderie of the Stags Leap District."
Only three barrels of this limited-production wine have been produced. It is exclusively available through the Stags Leap District Winegrowers website, priced at $275 per bottle and sold in three- and six-bottle sets.
