Stancer Testing-Lab Expands EMC Testing Services for Manufacturers

Stancer Testing-Lab has expanded its electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio frequency (RF) testing services from its laboratory in Laval, Quebec.

The laboratory's A2LA-accredited scope includes emissions, immunity, and radio test methods. These services are aimed at manufacturers of automotive, medical device, industrial, and wireless products. The company aims to facilitate product testing and market access across North America, as well as in Europe, Japan, South Korea, and other international markets.

Stancer focuses on supporting manufacturers early in the development process. The company provides pre-compliance testing and technical guidance. This approach assists engineers in identifying and resolving potential compatibility issues at an early stage, potentially avoiding costly redesigns and delays before product launch.

The testing scope covers standards such as FCC Part 15, ICES-003, various CISPR standards, and IEC 61000 series tests. For the automotive sector, services include testing according to ECE Regulation 10, CISPR 25, and relevant ISO standards. Medical device testing includes IEC 60601-1-2, and for wireless device manufacturers, integrated EMC and radio testing are offered.
