Raidium has appointed radiologist and AI specialist Curtis Langlotz to its strategic advisory board. Langlotz will advise the firm on the validation and construction of AI-assisted reporting systems specifically designed for clinical radiology workflows.
Drawing on his background at Stanford, Langlotz will focus on ensuring that Raidium’s technological developments align with the practical requirements of clinicians. The collaboration aims to address the integration challenges often associated with implementing machine learning tools in high-stakes oncology and radiology environments.
To mark the partnership, Raidium is hosting a webinar on November 10 focusing on the practical application and future trajectory of AI in medical imaging. The appointment signals a focus on bridging the gap between automated diagnostic tools and the expert interpretation of radiologists.
