Star Wars Exhibition to Premiere at The Franklin Institute in February 2027

The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia is set to host the world premiere of "Star Wars™: The Experience" on February 13, 2027, as part of the global celebration for the 50th anniversary of the iconic film franchise.

Developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm and Disney Consumer Products, the exhibition aims to immerse fans in the legacy of Star Wars. The project seeks to explore the storytelling, innovation, and artistry behind the series, spanning over five decades.

Visitors can expect to see a collection of rare artifacts, including screen-used props such as Darth Maul's lightsaber and Darth Vader's costume. Beloved characters and droids like Grogu, R2-D2, and C-3PO will also be featured.

New exhibit renderings and official key art for "Star Wars: The Experience" were unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con. The exhibition will showcase the evolution of the Star Wars galaxy, from its early practical effects to its modern digital frontiers.
